Sophia Girls’ School, Meerut welcomes ZOC!

On 14 October 2022, the air around Sophia Girls' School was filled with positivity and joy with the visit of Fr. Magi Murzello all the way from Mumbai!

Fr. Magi was welcomed with warm hearts to the beats of 'Mumbai se aaya mera dost'. The day commenced with a short prayer service seeking the Lord's benediction on him and on his mission.

Truly embodying his Mission Sunshine, Fr. Magi brought plenty of sunshine into the Sophian  auditorium. Portraying a dual celebration of Zero Out Carbon and Green Guards, the kindergarten students walked the ramp showcasing with glory our duty towards Mother Earth. The lyrical performance of the students of Std. 3, 'Let's team up for green', was an outstanding narration of our duty towards our planet. The soulful dance performance moved all. Fr. Magi was honoured with an 'I am a Green Guard' citation.

However, the orientation conducted by Fr. Magi was the highlight of the day. With his sunshine smile and novel ways, he connected with the teachers instantly. He brought home to us how we educators are the pillars of society and how imperative it is for us to keep ourselves updated in our ways. The various games played throughout the session were not only stressbusting but also immensely purposeful.

We cannot thank Fr. Magi enough for such an enlightening session and his joyful visit.
